Remember when I posted about how much I hate running (and told you I was doing it anyway)?
I’m still working at it. I’ve only done six or seven runs since that post, so I’m definitely not on the three-times-a-week track, but I think that’s okay.
These are my pretty pink running shoes. Or maybe they’re not actually running shoes. I don’t know. But they are the shoes I wear when I run.
In case you were wondering, I still hate running.
But it’s gotten to the point that I need to do it. If I feel tired and lethargic and sore, I want to run. If I’m having a bad day, I want to go home and run.
If I’m feeling great, the last thing I want to do is run—there are so many other things to do!
Running has become like medicine for me—I take it when I feel bad and need a little boost. I hope to get past that point so I can actually do it because I enjoy it, but I figure I’m on the right path.
